Colors

Colors have many meanings. They vary from culture to culture. Different religions may attribute different properties to them. We as individuals may also attribute certain characteristics to colors due to their spiritual nature and how they speak to us. Some people are attracted to certain colors due to their personality. Others are attracted to one color today; a totally different color tomorrow.

No matter what colors mean to you and why you wear them, they empower you due to their attributes. Wear them purposely; let the colors pick you!

Here is a list of the basic colors.

 

Red

• Chakra: Red Chakra (Root Chakra)
• Meaning: Power, Love
• Zodiac Sign: Aries & Scorpio
• Gemstones: Garnet, Ruby, Coral

 

Orange

• Chakra: Orange Chakra (Sacral Chakra)
• Meaning: Courage, Success
• Zodiac Sign: Gemini
• Gemstones: Amber, Citrine, Carnelian

 

Yellow

• Chakra: Yellow Chakra (Solar Plexus Chakra)
• Meaning: Happiness, Energy
• Zodiac Sign: Leo
• Gemstones: Citrine, Tiger’s Eye

 

Green

• Chakra: Green Chakra (Heart Chakra)
• Meaning: Fertility, Growth
• Zodiac Sign: Taurus, Capricorn
• Gemstones: Malachite, Tourmaline

 

Blue

• Chakra: Blue Chakra (Throat Chakra)
• Meaning: Loyalty, Intelligence
• Zodiac Sign: Aries, Virgo
• Gemstones: Lapis Lazuli, Larimar, Turquoise

 

Indigo

• Chakra: Indigo Chakra (Third Eye Chakra)
• Meaning: Intuition, Perception
• Zodiac Sign: Libra, Pisces

Purple

• Chakra: Purple Chakra (Crown Chakra)
• Meaning: Spirituality, Ambition
• Zodiac Sign: Sagittarius

White

• Chakra: White Chakra (Soul Star Chakra, 8th Chakra)
• Meaning: Innocence, Fresh
• Gemstones: Crystal Quartz

Black

• Gemstones: Hematite, Obsidian, Black Onyx
• Meaning: Protection, Intensity
